30 DAYS OF SNOGA

Sarah May 13, 2022

These classes will happen LIVE every day @ 7:30am PST from May 16th – June 16th. Each class will be 10 – 20 minutes long and constantly build on one another. On Thursdays and Fridays we will have our normal hour long LIVE classes and they can be found here as well. To find the link to the class today, Scroll to the bottom. Join the Facebook group to be part of the challenges: https://www.facebook.com/groups/689454925405988

Day 1

In this class we are just learning Vinyasa flow for those of you who have never done yoga before. Tomorrow we will learn sun salutation A & B. As the days and weeks go on you will start to notice being more and more able each class. Homework: Take pictures/videos in the beginning to track your progress, choose something to give up & add in for these next 30 days.

Day 2

In this class we learned Sun Salutation A & B. My goal for you is to move on your own inhales and exhales so practice doing these on your own time to get the breathing down. There are a lot of Vinyasas in this class so you are welcome to use modifications (knees) at any time. Enjoy!

Day 3

In this class we took what we learned from day 1 & day 2 and added some more movement. This is a great hip opener class that will get you warm. Remember: day 4 & 5 are going to be hour long classes so schedule yourself accordingly. Day 6 goes back to the normal 15 minutes, then day 7 is a self led class (meaning your homework is to take what you’ve learned and do your own movements for at least 5-10 minutes).

Day 4

Day 4!!! This is your first hour long class! for those of you who have never taken a long class with me before, they start with a breathing exercise, movement, then end with a meditation at the end. Allow yourself to rest in the meditation! Enjoy!

Day 5

Day 5!!! This is another hour long class. This flow is well rounded and has a lot of movement in it! Enjoy!

Day 6

This is my favorite morning flow that I do every morning to start my day right. It’s gentle so feel free to add some sun salutations afterwards if you want more heat. Enjoy!

Day 7

Self flow 🙂 Get on your mat and make up your own little 5 – 1- minute flow you might surprise yourself!

Day 8

Day 8! This class is an energizing morning flow. We work a little bit of everything here so feel free to use this one as often as you’d like. Enjoy!

Day 9

CORE DAY!!!! This class is just a day to work on core strength. I put together my favorite core moves that translates to the core used on the mountain. Enjoy!

Day 10

Today’s class was a lot of chest openers which felt amazing after the core work we did yesterday! Enjoy!

Day 11

Hips, hips, and more hips! Enjoy!

Day 12

This class has a little bit of everything (hips, balance, wrists, and shoulders) but whats cool is it’s all active rather than passive movements! Enjoy!

Day 13

Nice gentle breathing exercise and movements to wake up your sleepy morning 🙂 Enjoy!

Day 14

Self flow (5 – 10 minutes)

Day 15

10 minutes of consistently moving. Enjoy!

Day 16

This is a 20 minute class dedicated to not using arm (insert wow face here). It is all standing!!! Enjoy!

Day 17

I apologize for the quality of video here. We are going to problem shoot today to get you a clearer picture tomorrow. This flow has some energetic activation and some passive seated postures. The perfect combination . Enjoy!

Day 18

This morning flow is a great combination between a slow morning and energetic movement. Enjoy!

Class 19

This is a great flow to do after a workout. It’s also a easy one to memorize so try the three rounds in this video then try a round on your own.

Day 20

Self flow (10 – 15 minutes)

Day 21

This flow is a great morning flow that opens up hips and thoracic spine. Enjoy!

Day 22

This is a fun little spicy flow that will get you heart rate going and your turns growing! Do as many rounds as you can (even after the video ends).

Day 23

This class is all about twists (rotations). This is crucial for snowboarding not only for 180, 360, + but also for heel side and toe side turns. Enjoy!

Day 24

This flow is allllll about the hips! check to see if Childs pose feels the same or different from start to finish. Enjoy!

Day 25

This flow is full of sun salutations and hamstring/hip openers. We also incorporated some upper back work for those of you who sit at a desk. Enjoy!

Day 26

Today is a great day for a guided meditation. It’s only 7 minutes, let yourself truly be present.

Day 27

Self flow (10-15 minutes)

Day 28

This flow is a great hip and hamstring opener and only 10 minutes!!! Enjoy!

Day 29

This flow was all about hips, knees, and ankles. Enjoy!

DAY 30!!!!!!

DAY 30!!!! We made it! Today I have a test for you 🙂 This is called the stand up challenge which tests your ankle, knee, and hip mobility (everything essential for snowboarders). Now that the 30 days are over, you can either start practicing your own 10 minute flows in the morning OR you can start over and do the 30 days AGAIN!! If you’re unable to complete the stand up challenge, I highly suggest doing the 30 days again and seeing the difference by the end. Thank you all for being a part of this challenge, please let me know (via IG messages) how this month has affected you.
